Masthead design forImagine, Hugh Gwyther’s new magazine. The concept explores the boundless nature of human imagination: a celebration of spontaneity, imperfection and warmth, in contrast to the precision of the AI era. Designed in collaboration with Bráulio Amado.
Studio DC is a graphic design and art direction practice based in London. Founded by Dan Cavicchia in 2018, it began with a simple idea: to bridge the worlds of graphic design and music — a natural reflection of Dan’s dual background. What started as a creative base for music labels, club nights, festivals, and artists has since evolved into collaborations across a wide range of industries, including art, lifestyle, TV, cinema, theatre, and fashion.
At its core, Studio DC focuses on branding and identity. By challenging the norm through subtle gestures or avoiding the most obvious paths, the goal is always to create smart design solutions rooted in aesthetics and strategy. Real creativity isn’t safe. Brave brands build strength by standing out from the crowd.
Studio DC is an independent studio that champions the rights of the LGBTQI+ community, as well as other social minorities. It also engages in music production from time to time.
